Screen areas

All FirstView displays can be split to three different screen areas. Each area can play independent content

By default display has one screen area which is sized as the display (area 1)

Lanscape displays = 1920 x 1080

Portrait displays = 1080 x 1920

Note! Led screens and other special displays can differ from default

Add new screen ares from + CREATE AREA

Choose the area from the tab and edit the area settings:

Click apply to save the screen areas

When screen areas are set, each area works as independent displays and different playlists can be connected to each area

CHECKLIST FOR USING SPLIT SCREEN

Name the areas clearly so that is easy to connect the playlists to different areas

Dont't over the display preset area

Always use same aspect ratio with the content and the screen area so that the content won't be distorted

With PiCube media players, videos can be added only to area number 1

Screen areas can be made with layers, if some content is going to be played on top of the other

Be careful with the split screen. If possible use divide the materials into separate content so you can play them in full screen
