3. Edit schedules
By default, the announcement/ad starts playing on its own as soon as it is added. You can schedule the content to start later by selecting a time from the calendar. When you turn off the 'endless option, you can also add an end time, at which point the content will be automatically deleted. You can also add daily schedules to announcements/ads. 4. Playback mode

Normal
The audio file is played normally according to the schedules and priorities. 

Only Once
The audio file is played once at the scheduled time. 

Play at interval
The audio file is played at the desired intervals (in minutes) according to the schedules.

5. Edit priority
If you want to play an announcement or commercial over background music, change the priority to "normal".

Tip! If you schedule both commercials and announcements:
- Use the priority 'background' for background music 

- Use the priority 'normal' for commercials 

- Use the priority 'high' for announcements

In this case, commercials will skip background music according to the schedules, and announcements will skip all other content.

6. Adjust the volume if necessary
The correct volume can be determined by testing. The choice made in MediaCloud depends on your own audio equipment.

Example of scheduling background music, announcements and advertisements

In this example, there are two background music collections. The morning collection is scheduled to play every day from 8:00 to 13:00. The afternoon background music collection is scheduled from 13:00 to 18:00. The background music priority is 'background'.

Morning advertisement 1 is scheduled to play daily from 9:00 to 13:00 with a repetition setting of 30 minutes. The priority of the advertisement is 'normal', i.e. when the advertisement is playing, the background music is paused.

Afternoon advertisement 2 is scheduled to play daily from 13:00 to 17:00 with a repetition setting of 30 minutes. The priority of the advertisement is 'normal', i.e. when the advertisement is playing, the background music is paused.

The store closing announcement is scheduled to start every day at 5:50 PM with the repeat setting 'once'. The announcement will then repeat once a day at 5:50 PM. The priority of the announcement is 'high', meaning that the background music and advertisements are paused when the announcement is played.
