1. Portrait or landscape display?

Aspect ratio

Choose the content according to the screen, i.e. horizontal content for horizontal screens and vertical content for vertical screens.
Use the same aspect ratio for content as on the screen or screen area, otherwise the content will not be stretched or flattened.

The most common aspect ratios for info displays:

Horizontal screens 16:9
Vertical screens 9:16

Resolution

Digital signage screens are most often full HD screens, meaning the screen resolution is:

For horizontal screens 1920x1080
For vertical screens 1080x1920

Full HD resolution is recommended for all content.

2. Supported file types

Imagaes

PNG and JPEG (user RGB colors)

Videos

All common video formats are supported

PDF

All common PDF fileformats are supported

3. Tips

Split long messages into multiple slide and reinforce your message with repetition
Favour large, clear images
Use bold colours and contrasts
View your content where the screens are. Screen location, viewing distance and environment affect the visibility of your content
