You can add a variety of web content to FirstView info screens, for example from Microsoft365, Google Drive, Youtube, other websites and web applications.
The functionality of web content depends on the media player used. Most web content and integration are only available with the HDCube media player, with others content support is more limited. We therefore recommend testing all web content in advance. You can read more about different media players here ».
Start with the plus button and select HTML.
1. Name the content
2. Add URL link
Copy paste the link to MediaClou
3. Edit the scheduling
By default, content will appear on the screen as soon as it is added. You can schedule the content to start later by selecting a time from the calendar. When you turn off the 'endless' option, you can also add an end time, at which point the content will automatically disappear from the screen. More instructions on timings can be found here here ».
4. Adjust the duration time (in seconds)
5. Adjust refresh mode and refresh frequency
Refresh mode = how often the page is refreshed
Always = the page is reloaded every time
Custom = the page is reloaded after a set time
Never = the page is never reloaded
We recommend using the custom refresh mode. If the page is self-refreshing, select 'never' as the refresh method.
Refresh frequency = the time (in seconds) after which the site is reloaded when using the custom refresh mode.
If the content changes frequently but the web page is not self-refreshing, a few minutes is a suitable refresh frequency. If the content of the page is not updated very often, the refresh frequency can be quite long, at least 10-15 minutes (600-900s).
6. Authentication
Authentication will only be provided by the basic auth method. If you are using, for example, FA2 or another login type, contact FirstView support.
7. Change the priority if necessary.
Read more about priorities here ».
8. Frequent
The option plays the content every other time in the playlist.Without a selection, the content is displayed in its own turn.
9. Full screen
The option applies to screens divided into multiple screen areas, read more about screen areas here ».
10. Select the playlists
Select playlists to which the content will be linked
11. Finally, save the content!
