Priority determines the order of importance of content, i.e. how content is repeated in relation to each other. Higher priority overrides lower-level content, allowing important announcements or campaigns to be displayed above basic content.
The default priority for all content is background.
Content that is repeated with background priority is displayed on the screen when there is no higher-level content. It is a good idea to keep all regular content at this priority, and save other priorities for special content and disruptions.
You can edit the priority of individual content in the content editing view, or directly in the playlist view.
Päivän lounas on valittu toistumaan normaalilla prioriteetilla, eli sisällön prioriteetti on korkeampi kuin muilla sisällöillä. Lounassisältö on lisäksi ajastettu näkymään maanantaista perjantaina klo 9.30 – 12.00.
Lounassisällön näkyessä näytöllä, muut sisällöt eivät toistu, koska lounassisällön normaali prioriteetti yliajaa muiden sisältöjen tausta prioriteetin. Kun lounassisällön ajastus päättyy, muut sisällöt näkyvät näytöllä, kunnes lounassisällön ajastus alkaa uudelleen.
The lunch of the day has been selected to repeat with normal priority, meaning the content has a higher priority than other content. The lunch content has also been scheduled to appear Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 12:00 AM.
While the lunch content is on screen, other content will not repeat because the normal priority of the lunch content overrides the background priority of other content. When the lunch content schedule ends, other content will appear on screen until the lunch content schedule starts again.
If you want other content to also be displayed during lunchtime, the Lunch of the Day content priority is set to background, so that all content is displayed on the screen at the same time.
In this case, the lunch content will be displayed according to its schedule from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 12:00 AM with other content.
It is a good idea to save the highest priority for important information or disruptions messages. In this case, all other content will be removed from the screen while the high priority content is playing.
In the example, the high priority content ends on January 26, 26026 at 2.25 PM, after which all other content will return to playback according to the settings.
Frequent choice plays the content every other time in the playlist.
When you want to increase the visibility of a campaign or news, for example, but not override other content, you can use frequent replay. Turn on frequent choice from the content editing view.
